Fun Freetime: Call from Santa

There's a fun new service available for the holidays called Hello Santa. It allows people to have real-time video calls with Santa Claus using a webcam or iOS device. This could be a great idea for kids who have Santa as part of their holiday traditions - it can really help bring him to life!

If you have older kids and younger kids, some of whom believe in Santa and some who are on the edge of not believing, having some "face time" with Santa might help those older kids hang on one more year or two until you're ready to let all the kids in on the secret.

You can either schedule a call for a specific date/time, or tap the ‘Call Santa Now’ button to start a live video call with Santa instantly. Once the call is over, you can share your special moment with friends and family on Facebook & Twitter, or over email and SMS. You can view your own video again and again, but the app has privacy controls that mean you control the distribution of your video. Santa is pre-screened and trained, so you don't have to worry about what might happen during your call.

The calls have no definite time limit (although you won't get an hour long call) and can be made 9am-4pm Pacific time (you can email to make arrangements outside of those times if desired). You can upload interests prior to the call, so that Santa is able to chat with your child in a truly personalized experience.
