I like Bill Cosby. I remember watching the Cosby Show growing up, and I've heard several of his comedy sketches. He has a sense of humor that appeals to a wide variety of audiences in a wide age span and diverse backgrounds and is pretty good, clean humor - the kind I'm not afraid to watch with my kids. One of my favorite sketches growing up was the "cake for breakfast" snip.
He's going to be doing his first TV special in 30 years on Comedy Central on November 23rd (see his clip parodying Comedy Central below). If you can't watch it then, you can also pre-order the DVD, Blu-ray, CD, or Instant Video. You can also check out his live events calendar to see when he'll be performing near you. To celebrate this event digitally, Mr. Cosby is asking fans to lend their laughter in his #LaughterIsUniversal game - find out how people laugh around the world. It's really kind of fun to hear!
He's been a noted name in comedy for years, with performances and books (including a great graduation book that I got when I graduated college) under his belt, as well as Fat Albert, a cartoon designed to mix entertainment and education. He has received the Kennedy Center Honors, the Presidential Medal of Freedom (America’s highest civilian honor), the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor and the Marian Anderson Award.
