Ovation, America’s only arts network, known for its support of the next generation
of artists, will debut a new original series – Young Marvels
– Wednesday, July 16 at 10:00 p.m. ET.
This
insightful docuseries presents an intimate portrait of eight
exceptionally gifted children. It explores the delicate balance they and
their families strive to maintain between nurturing
their talents and preserving the semblance of a normal childhood.
Ovation follows these remarkable kids on their journeys to become
successful artists in dance, music, vocal performance and more.
Hailing
from across the United States, these young marvels include: Charlie
(12), a cellist who studies at Juilliard; Clark (11), an accomplished
opera singer; Sophia (13), a dancer who trains
at the world-famous Millennium Dance Complex in Los Angeles; Duncan
(14), a ballet dancer who moved to New York to attend American Ballet
Theatre’s prestigious Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School; Lev (8), a
national champion in ballroom dancing; Mabou (8),
a polyglot who speaks eight languages and plays seven instruments;
Matthew (13), a blind musician and composer who plays piano, organ, and
drums; and Mae Ya (12), a singer who stuns audiences with her
emotionally-charged voice.
Young Marvels
was produced by Tremendous! Entertainment for Ovation and will have its world television premiere Wednesday, July 16 at 10:00 p.m. ET,
only on Ovation. In addition, a sneak peek of the series will be
available exclusively on Ovation's VOD and TV Everywhere platforms
starting on July 9.
