Entrepreneur-turned-author Janee Pennington wrote her first novel Meeting Eve based on her 20 years in the hospitality industry. The book is a very fast read, with humor and a look at the nature of being overworked. I really liked it, as Eve takes a chance in love and life, and learns valuable lessons through failure.
The book is written from someone clearly in the know - Eve is an event planner, and that was Janee's career (along with directing films and hobbies with her husband). It's realistic and easy to follow, absorbing and interesting. I'm looking forward to her second novel in the works!
