My older daughter is a major girly girl and loves all things fairy and magic and princess and unicorn (instead of an imaginary friend, she has an imaginary pet unicorn named Goldie). I wasn't even aware that Bella Sara existed, but now she loves it!
Bella Sara: Emma's Wings takes kids on a magical journey to "North of North," a mythical, horse-filled land where Emma comes face to face with the evil Ivenna, who is out to destroy the herds, steal their magic, and take possession of the land herself. Emma and her new friend Sara need rescue the horses.
My younger daughter was actually ok with this movie (she has such a hard time with any conflict in movies that she freaks out at even animated things like large food dropping from the sky and people from building sets fighting). Nothing really freaked her out here at all. The animation is sort of a video-game-style (can't think of another way to describe it) and is nicely done. My daughters loved the story, and at just over an hour it was short enough to keep their attention.
