"We are extremely excited to be in St. Paul, and the course, showcasing much of the great city, will be a memorable experience for the athletes and spectators alike," said Brian D'Amico, USA Triathlon National Events Senior Manager. "Working with those at Visit Saint Paul, city officials, and other key members of the community has ensured this will be yet another top-notch event showcasing the top duathletes in the country."

Duathlon Nationals is the sole qualifying event for the age-group 2015 Standard- and Sprint-Distance ITU Duathlon World Championships in Adelaide, South Australia, on October 14-18, 2015. The top 18 finishers in each age group, rolling down to 25th place, will qualify for Team USA.

Team USA is comprised of the nation's top multisport athletes who represent the U.S. at each ITU World Championships event. Visit usatriathlon.org for more on Team USA.
