I recently had a chance to read the book Persecuted by Robin Parrish. The Persecuted movie will be out on July 18th. It's a compelling read for anyone interested in religious freedom. The story follows an evangelist who refuses to lend support to a new religious-equality bill, and finds he has powerful opponents determined to destroy his reputation and undermine his values.

It's a very interesting book. The suspense is tangible, and while it may seem a little farfetched (as most suspense movies are), it's at the same time plausible.

If you're interested in reading it for yourself, leave a comment (or email me cobberreb@yahoo.com) by July 18th with your definition of religious freedom.
