Consumer Critique: Tell Me of Brave Women

Disclosure: I received complimentary products to facilitate this post. All opinions are my own.

Tell Me Of Brave Women was written by retired clinical psychologist Laura Riley. It features three amazing women who stand up to old traditions and fight abuse in new ways. Samara, a famous storyteller, Thelma, a tough waitress in Appalachia, and Evangelina, a South American teen, battle abuse and wage their lives for liberty.

I love it when a person's career comes out in their work. These characters are richly developed. The writing style is gripping and really drew me into the stories - not just the actual plot itself, but also the background of where these women came from. It's a novel with powerful female characters who won't stand down when confronted for their freedom and their worth as human beings. It is a lengthy novel, but it's well worth the time put in to read it.
