Healthy Habits: Winter Skincare

Many of us prepare for the upcoming fall/winter season by making sure we’ve got the right gear to protect ourselves against the changing weather, but one thing we may neglect is proper skincare, which is our body’s first line of defense against the elements.


Winter weather typically brings dry skin, but with a few simple daily tips, we can help our skin look and feel its best, even in the coldest of weather and year-round.  While our scalp, hands and face are exposed to environmental stressors, our lips take a beating because they have the most sensitive skin on the body and are really never covered up. Even everyday things we do - talking, drinking, eating, breathing or licking and biting - can damage our lips.
