The Wonder Years debuted in the late 80s, with a nostalgic look at growing up in the late '60s and early '70s in suburban America. Kevin sought to work through  his teenage struggles while dealing with an older annoying brother, a rebellious sister, a workaholic father, and a doting mother, along with a nerdy best friend and girl-next-door love interest. the narration by older, wiser Kevin added perspective and kept viewers interested in the show for the next six years.
