Amazing Apps: Play-Doh Seek and Squish

PlayDate Digital, under license from Hasbro, Inc., is launching PLAY-DOH: SEEK AND SQUISH an all-new interactive storybook app for emerging readers. PLAY-DOH: SEEK  AND SQUISH for iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch takes a child's interaction (and imagination) with the classic PLAY-DOH brand to a whole new digital level of squishable fun.

PLAY-DOH: SEEK AND SQUISH is an original storybook app made entirely of digital PLAY-DOH. In this adventure of exploration and learning, friendly animals have gathered to welcome readers to a gorgeous PLAY-DOH world, but they want to play "hide-and-go-seek" with the reader as seeker! It is up to the reader to find the animals by squishing and seeking their way through eight colorful habitats: Desert, Garden, Ocean, Savanna, Farm, Forest, Arctic, and Jungle. In some cases, the reader is even asked to help certain animals find their way back to their home habitats.

After an animal is found, the reader can peruse that animal's page in a digital Field Guide to learn more about what they have just discovered, as if the reader is an adventurer traversing a rich and thrilling world of PLAY-DOH. Complete with "Read to Me" and "Read to Myself" modes, this interactive storybook app provides children with a vast array of ways to learn and read.

Product Highlights:

-       8 vibrant, squishable PLAY-DOH habitats readers can explore to uncover and learn about interesting animals and where they live
-       Animals hide in different places each time the child reads through the book, meaning a unique experience with each read-through
-       Includes an animal Field Guide full of fascinating  facts about each animal, such as what the animal eats and how it sounds
-       Children can mold their own PLAY-DOH animals, such as a toucan, camel or monkey, with the real modeling compound, and can take pictures of their creations and add them to their Field Guide
-       Children practice early reading skills, while learning about their favorite animals and their habitats
-       Curriculum developed and reviewed by preschool education experts

PLAY-DOH: SEEK AND SQUISH is available for $2.99 from the App Store on iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch or at www.AppStore.com.
