Caring Causes: Autism Superhero

Talk About Curing Autism (TACA), a national non-profit organization dedicated to educating, empowering and supporting families affected by autism, is holding a series of events during April’s “Autism Action Month” that are geared towards mobilizing caring citizens to take action to support families affected by autism. With 1 in 68 children in the United States diagnosed with autism, support for families is needed more than ever before. With it’s “Superhero” social media campaign, and “National Autism Coffee Talk Day” TACA hopes to reach the masses to text-to-donate or show support for the person they know and love with autism.

Support your loved one(s) who are affected by autism with TACA's social media campaign and text-to-donate.

People are encouraged to text-to-donate any amount and take photos with TACA cards that say “Proud Backup to a Superhero: Autism Superhero” and post on social media channels with a message and hashtags similar to this:
I know a kid with autism, he is my #autismsuperhero! I am proud to back up a superhero! @TACAFoundation. Text AUTISM2015 to 41444 and show your support for your superhero! #autismactionmonth #autism #lov
On Thursday April 23rd, TACA will hold almost 60 “Coffee Talks” around the country. These events provide an opportunity for families to learn about treatment options, be connected with professionals who can help them, obtain scholarships for treatment, and get emotional support from parent mentors.
Please go to TACA's Autism Coffee Talk Events to learn about a TACA “Coffee Talk” event near you.
