Consumer Critique: The Start of Things

Disclosure: I received complimentary products to facilitate this post. All opinions are my own.

Alison Faith Levy, formerly "Sippy Alison" of legendary kindie trailblazers The Sippy Cups and the songwriter behind such Sippy hits as "Magic Toast," The Jellyfish," "Move Your Pants," and "One Day Soon," will soon release her second solo album, The Start of Things on April 21st.

This is a great album to listen to. Her vocal tone is rich and pleasant - my husband loved it as well. The music has a grown-up pop sound to it, not annoying like some kids' songs. And the songs have positive messages - self-acceptance, empowerment, and expression. Alison cites influences as diverse as Steven Sondheim, John Lennon and Cat Stevens for this album.

The Start of Things will be available at iTunes, amazon.com, CDBaby.com, and at all of Alison Faith Levy's shows and music classes.
