Consumer Critique: Chalk Ink

Disclosure: I received complimentary products to facilitate this post. All opinions are my own.

Chalk Ink is a great, high-quality chalkboard marker. Unlike chalk, it doesn't create dust, and wipes completely clean off of hard surfaces with just water (except for certain products designed to withstand water). It won't smear as you're writing, making it great for educational uses at home, whether homeschooling, playing school, or reinforcing things learned in school. The bright colors make it more vibrant for use in school, and because it will wipe off of any non-porous surface, it can also be used on surfaces other than chalkboards (obviously you want to test in a small space before trying it out, though).

There are a lot of creative uses at home:
- Menu boards, schedules, and planners
- Labeling drawers and cubbies
- Mirror or window art
- Messages inside lunchboxes or in surprising places around the house

You've probably seen Chalk Ink in action at coffee shops, cafes, and even some grocery stores (it's used by Peet's, Starbucks, Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, and Panera, among others). You can bring that great look home for yourself; find Chalk Ink at online retailers, art stores, and office supply stores.
