Consumer Critique: Jack Hanna's Big Book of Why

Disclosure: I received complimentary products to facilitate this post. All opinions are my own.

Kids love to ask questions. And sometimes those questions can have parents stumped. My older daughter trips me up all the time with questions about animals - she's very curious about them, and while I know a lot about science, I don't know everything about animals.

She's loved the new book we got to review, Jack Hannas Big Book of Why. The book is organized by habitat (grasslands, ocean, etc) to make it easy to find certain critters (we've spent lots of time in the rainforest section, since she loves big cats). It's got lots of questions and answers, some of which she already knew, but lots that she didn't, along with facts, quizzes, and photos of lots of animals.

At just under $20, this book is a great value. There is a wealth of information in a kid-friendly, but not childish, format, and parents will learn something too!

Jack Hanna’s Big Book of Why is published by Media Lab Books. Populus Brands initiated and manages the partnership between Media Lab Books for Jack Hanna.
