Consumer Critique: Spot the Tick...in Barbados

Disclosure: I received complimentary products to facilitate this post. All opinions are my own.

Each year millions of people flood to Barbados for its delicious food and beautiful ocean setting. However, with hundreds of millions of ticks calling the island home, this playground for the soul is also rife with the potential for Lyme disease. Lorraine Damonte uses her latest children’s book Spot the Tick...in Barbados to invite children on aquick  tour of Barbados, while also educating them about the dangers of tick bites.

Recommended for kids four to nine years old, the book begins with Nicole talking about the exciting things to see in Barbados, each illustration with a tiny tick somewhere to find. The book ends with basic tick safety, a good reminder for parent and child alike. In addition, half of the profits will be donated to a Lyme disease charity.
