Giveaway: All Dogs Go to Kevin

Disclosure: I received complimentary products to facilitate this post. All opinions are my own.

You can't always count on people, but you can always count on your dog. No one knows that better than veterinarian Jessica Vogelsang, who with the help of three dogs, is buoyed through adolescence, veterinary school, and the early years of motherhood. Taffy, the fearsome Lhasa; Emmett, an amiable Golden; and Kekoa, the neurotic senior Labrador, are always by her side, offering lessons in empathy and understanding for all the oddballs and misfits who come through the vet clinic doors. Also beside her is Kevin, a human friend who lives with the joie de vivre most people only dream of having. But when tragedy strikes, Jessica is reminded that the animals we love give more than they take.

This book is a nice, heartwarming tale, perfect for animal lovers. For some dog lovers, this will be preaching to the choir in terms of the bond that dogs have with their owners. For others, it will provide an eye-opening insight into just what a profound effect animals can have on their human companions.

Right now you can get specials if you pre-order the book. I also have the opportunity to give away one copy of the book. To enter, leave a comment by July 10th with the favorite example of the bond you have with your favorite furry creature.

  1. I love my pack of Terrier mixes. Each has their own unique personality. They make me feel so good when they welcome me home, even if I have only been away for a few minutes! They have different styles of playing and keep me busy paying attention to them. We have 2 people beds pushed together so all have their own spot to sleep.

  2. I have had several dogs over the course of my lifetime and loved them as if they were my children, but my current dog, Border Collie Teddy, takes the prize. He is never away from my side (this also means if I am in the shower, he lays alongside the tub), if any of our cats try to get on my lap and he is awake, he will lay across me so they can't climb up (I have to tell him "okay" and then he gets down). I can't say enough about him and the joy he brings to my life! :)

  3. We rescued our dog, Mommacita from craigslist. she had been used for breeding. We got her fixed and she is the most loving, loved dog I have ever met!
