Book Nook: Pout-Pout Fish and the Big-Big Dark

Last year, my daughter's preschool loved books about the Pout-Pout Fish. This cute, grumpy-looking fish has a series of adventures, sleeping, in the dark, going to school, and holiday shopping. In The Pout-Pout Fish in the Big-Big Dark, Pout-Pout goes searching for a lost pearl, a journey that takes him deep into the dark water, where he realizes that although he's smart, he's scared of the dark. In the end, he perseveres, and he and his friends have reason to celebrate. My daughter loved this book, with the charming cadence and easy rhymes. It's a great book about courage, and fun for fans of Pout-Pout Fish.
