America’s
premier success coach, Miami-based Susan Ford Collins, muses below
about things she has learned from decades of studying highly successful people (HSPs) and how this information can help students successfully apply for college. She is the author of The Technology of Success book series which includes, The Joy of Success: 10 Essential Skills for Getting the Success You Want,
I've posted articles by Ford Collins before, but I haven't gotten around to posting my thoughts on the book, which I was sent to review. I really like the book's format - it makes it easy to get a snapshot of those ten essential skills: learning to success file, using all three success gears, dreaming, communicating well, using others' expertise, releasing your past, committing, shielding your dream, switching from can't to can, and keeping your balance. The book is well-written, and has a lot of good tips on being successful in a positive way.
