 It is amazing to realize how many people have died for their Christian faith. From the first well-known martyr, Stephen, to those who are executed for their Christian faith in decidedly non-Christian countries around the world today, there are so many people who have believed so strongly that they are willing to die for that belief. Bearing Witness collects dozens of inspiring accounts of faith. It's not always easy to read stories of martyrdom, but it can be inspiring and helpful in strengthening our own faith.
