THE GOLDEN GIRLS OF RIO by Nikkolas Smith is a fun Olympic book for kids, especially girls, ages four through eight. It's a brief look at the path of some of the notable gold medal winners, celebrating their diversity and success. It bounced back and forth btween the girls, showing that people from a variety of backgrounds can end up on the Olympic path.
It was a fun book with illustrations that really conveyed movement and excitement. My daughters enjoyed learning from the quick blurbs about each one.
