Book Nook: The Art of Money

I recently had a chance to review The Art of Money by Bari Tessler Linden, MA, Financial Therapist, Mentor Coach, and mompreneur. The book comes from her work with The Art of Money program, which has been training people to have healthy relationships with money for over a decade. Right now you can get a free 7-day essentials course to start you moving in the right direction financially.
This book was unlike any other financial book I've ever seen before. It incorporates three parts - money healing, money practices, and money maps. It isn't a book that really delves into the nitty-gritty, rather, it helps people set up a good mindset around money, by exploring previous money attitudes, coming up with general guidelines, and creating roadmaps for the future. Her writing style is easy to understand, kind and gentle, and written with a mindful approach.

If mindfulness isn't really your thing, you might not want to read this book. However, it can certainly give a new perspective on money for people who need a financial change.
