Motherhood Moment: Music Minute: 2Cellos

I like 2Cellos. I like their musicianship as well as their visual artistry and sense of humor, both on stage and in their videos. I was excited to review the new album, Score, which takes listeners to the movies and TV along with the London Symphony Orchestra. They have a wide variety of songs from recent productions (Game of Thrones), older movies (Rain Man), and timeless classics (Chariots of Fire).

I didn't recognize every single song - I've never seen Game of Thrones, for example. Some tunes, like the theme from Chariots of Fire, are so well-known that most people have heard it even if they've never seen the movie. Others, like the theme from Rain Man, will really only be familiar to those who have seen it (which I have). All are wonderfully done, with a high level of technique, as well as the style perfectly appropriate to the movie chosen.
