Sometimes it takes empathizing with a character in a story to help kids sort through their own problems. I had a chance to review Boris and Worrisome Wakies, a nocturnal badger who just can't fall asleep during the day because of all his racing bedtime thoughts. It becomes a problem during the school night when he keeps following asleep at the wrong time.
Throughout the book, though, Boris learns strategies for helping keep his thoughts under control and have a good bedtime routine to help him get the rest he needs.
This lighthearted book can help kids and parents who are struggling with a good sleep routine to find one that works for them.
