Consumer Critique: ZeroWater

You might consider yourself healthy - eating a balanced diet, getting enough sleep, exercising, even drinking enough water. Did you know that the quality of water can have a big health impact? Nearly every state has areas where water is contaminated - and about a quarter of America's tap water is either unsafe or improperly monitored.

I was recently sent a filter from ZeroWater, a filter that gets more out of your water. Most filters use two stages, but ZeroWater uses a five-stage dual ion-exchange filter that removes 99.6% of total dissolved solids (non-organic impurities) from water. It's also one of the only pour-over filters that is NSF certified to reduce lead.

ZeroWater's 23-Cup Dispenser is the largest capacity dispenser on the market and features a convenient push-to-dispense spout. Plus, it fits perfectly on a refrigerator shelf giving you and your family easy-access to clean, pure water at all times.
  • BPA-free
  • One-handed push-to-dispense spout
  • Easy-access flip-top lid for refilling
  • Comes with a TDS meter to read water quality level
  • $39.99 at www.zerowater.com
The dispensers are easy to use. Even though I live in an area with very high water quality, it made a difference in taste. If the 23-cup is too big for you, they make smaller pitchers, and also filters suitable for bringing along to workplace or other locations. You can download and print coupons to save on your purchase.
