Enriching Education: Q Wunder

EQtainment is on a mission to improve the world’s social and emotional skills through entertaining games, books and the new Q Wunder show and app. The show episodes and app feature Sofia Dickens, Chief Creative Officer of EQtainment and former video correspondent for the Emmy Award–winning quiz show, Jeopardy!, and anchored the nation’s largest youth news source, Channel One News, along with her celebrity guests, such as Michael Strahan, Nick  & Vanessa Lachey, Mark-Paul Gosselaar, David  & Christina Arquette, Willie Robertson and many more!

I had a chance to try out the app, as well as see a cute plush monkey and board game. I really appreciated how my kids could have fun with them, while learning skills that are often lacking in other games - self-awareness, empathy, responsibility, and perseverance. The game and monkey came with clear instructions on effective ways to use them. They were kid-friendly, with eye-catching colors - the board game had fairly fast game play, and the monkey is a cute stuffed toy that's easy to love.

EQtainment has also developed one of the first measurement tools designed to help parents identify and improve their children’s social and emotional skills with customized content delivered via our Q Wunder app. The app really allows parents to strengthen specific skills that are weaker, instead of content aimed at interpersonal and emotional skills your child might already do well with.

You can get a one month free trial of the app to see if it's something that will work for you and benefit your family. It's available on both Google Play and Apple.
