For moms that don't have a college degree, but want to grow a meaningful career, there are a number of flexible jobs that require only a high school diploma.

1. Adoption Worker
Put your knowledge of children to work and help place them in a loving home as an adoption worker. In this role, you’ll work at designated sites working with both children and adults to provide a full range of adoption and permanency services. Prior experience in adoption preferred. Part-time with evening and weekend hours.
2. Data Entry – Recruiter Assistant
A data entry associate is needed for a full-time, temporary, telecommute position. Will liaise with patients, verify and document information, process claims, and more. A high school diploma and background screening experience are required.
3. Editor
Are you always in the know about upcoming family and children’s events? In this role, you’ll be responsible for attending press events in the Los Angeles area, connecting with the local parenting community, writing editorial stories, managing the local editorial calendar, and serving as the voice of the family events calendar. Part-time, work-at-home job with some travel.
4. Medical Proofreader
A medical proofreader is needed to review marketing and communications copy for errors within deadline. This contract opportunity requires a high school diploma or GED, one or more years’ related experience, good communication skills, and attention to detail.
5. MyChart Agent
MyChart agent with one year of related experience and stellar communication skills is needed for a full-time, work-from-home opportunity. Primary responsibilities will include improving manuals, supporting projects, and fulfilling requests.
6. Social Media Evaluator
Sometimes as a mom, your social media skills are sharpened because you’re finding ways to still connect with friends while managing your home and family. Those skills are perfect for this part-time, remote contract position where you need to be daily user of social media and have strong communication skills. Complete qualification process, provide input on whether each piece of information is effective and relevant, and evaluate data quality.
7. Customer Service Representative
Here’s another job for moms with no degree! A specialty home décor retailer needs someone to answer client questions, provide information, process returns, and negotiate issues. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. One to two years of customer service experience preferred.
8. Telephone Interviewer
Are your hands too full managing your home and tending to your children? This flexible schedule position could be a good solution for you. Conduct consumer research studies by phone on behalf of major corporations in industries such as automotive and telecommunications. Must be able to read survey questions verbatim. Requires a broadband Internet connection. Remote, part-time job.
9. Hearing Screener
Love babies? Screen newborns’ hearing according to protocols and educate parents. Interact with physicians, parents, and others. Must have a high school diploma or GED and be sensitive in working with infants. Healthcare experience preferred.
10. Case Assigner
Case assigner needed for a background investigations program. Full-time, partially remote position updating database information, coordinating systems, and generating correspondence. High school diploma, three or more years’ relevant experience, and strong grammar skills required.
