I recently had a chance to review the book La La Lovely. Written by blogger, Trina McNeilly, it's a look at finding beauty in everything.
Trina shared her stories of beauty while she was redecorating her childhood home, until her parents' unexpected divorce changed her idea of what home is. While she was processing this, she rediscovered that beauty isn't beyond the daily life, but in it. God is beauty, and when we seek Him, we find that beauty.
The book contains her stories of seeking and finding beauty, photographs, design tips, and advice for finding your own sense of style. It's a lovely little book that's good for a light read, for inspiration during darker times, and for getting new ideas for creating beauty in your life.
