I have two girls that I'm trying to raise with a strong Christian faith, so I was happy to have the chance to review Raising Passionate Jesus Followers by Phil and Diane Comer
Phil and Diane have been parents for nearly four decades, and as people active in the pastoral ministry, they certainly wanted their children to be passionate about Jesus too. This book uses their vast experience as pastoral counselors, teachers, and parents to inspire other Christian parents and give them practical advice.
I really enjoyed reading this book. Phil and Diane are candid about their parenting, and while not everything is going to work or be appropriate for every family, they stick to tactics that are going to work in most cases. The book covers every stage, from babies to letting go of adult children who are on their own, and uses Biblically-based advice to encourage kids to be passionate about Jesus.
