The book is well-written, giving an appropriate balance between the family's history, the accident itself, and the recovery. The only thing I would have liked to have seen is more pictures of the family themselves instead of so many clips from the actors that portrayed them. Otherwise it's a great book for anyone who enjoys reading stories of modern-day miracles.

Book Nook: Breakthrough - The Miraculous True Story of a Mother's Faith and Her Child's Resurrection
I recently had a chance to review Breakthrough: The Miraculous True Story of a Mother's Faith and Her Child's Resurrection. This book, which was made into a movie, is a the tale of an impossible but true story. Joyce Smith's fourteen-year-old son fell through an icy Missouri lake one morning. His body lay lifeless in a hospital for an hour, yet he miraculously survived.
