My sister-in-law loves socks. So does my daughter - and she's got such a bubbly personality that fun socks really suit her. That's why I was happy to review socks from SMILE! SOX™, created to help everyone from little kids to young tweens and women share their innermost feelings in the most creative, colorful, and eye-catching manner possible.
The company has six different sets of six socks each with a variety of characters that sound like the dwarves: Smiley, Jolly, Winky, Grumpy, Goffy, Happy.
The socks are sold at the www.smilesox.com site and on Amazon.com in two color options: fashion (dark red, coral, lavender, scarlet, yellow, turquoise) or basic (red, yellow, green, light blue, dark blue, black). They're a pretty decent price - $18.99 for Kids and $21.99 for Tweens & Women's.
The socks are comfortable, but won't work for those who want all cotton - they're 98% soft polyester and 2% Spandex, so they're pretty stretchy. The set we got actually works for my youngest daughter (6) up through my feet (8.5) even though we got the Kids Medium (6-8) set.
My youngest one of course claimed the grumpy and goofy ones, but that's fine. I'm also looking forward to the SCARY! SOX™ that they'll launch later this summer in advance of Halloween!
