Country music songwriter and performing artist, Taylon Hope, has released her most recent single, “Weightless.” The song was penned by songwriters Taylon Hope, Kaleb Thomas Jones and Smith Curry, recorded at Pentavarit Studio by Bobby Holland and produced by Smith Curry & Mark Lonsway with Warner Chappell Music in Nashville. Studio musicians on the project included Justin Ostrander on electric guitar, Devine Malone playing acoustic instruments, Wes Little performing on drums, Tim Denbo provided bass, David Dorn added keyboard and Smith Curry on pedal steel. “Weightless” is available for download and streaming on all digital music platforms here.
"Weightless" is song about letting go of anything that might be holding you back from being your true self. It could be a relationship, insecurities, doubt, or fear. It is about letting go of all those things and believing in yourself and your dreams, and finally standing firm on who you are and who you want to be. The line "Feel the future coming fast, set my feet on truth at last" is so true to Taylon’s own life as she has grown up in the music industry from the young age of 11to becoming more of who she is as a person, a writer, and a performer at the age of 16. There was a lot of freedom for her to write from her heart and share that part of herself. She stated, “it's an amazing feeling to be able to be free and to believe in yourself and the goals you have for yourself. I love this song so much, and I really hope that the words will really touch people and remind them to move forward in their life and to let go of things that might be holding them back from reaching their true potential!”
