Giveaway: Yael Meyer Music

Have you heard of Yael Meyer? She was selected as a “Needle in the Haystack” artist by MTV. Originally from Santiago de Chile, she enjoyed performance and creative arts
at an early age and received a scholarship to Berklee College of Music. There she recorded her first album Common Ground, which Rolling Stone Magazine called among the “top 50 albums of the year." She currently resides in Los Angeles. Her music can been heard on primetime TV shows such as ABC's Private Practice, Lifetime's Drop Dead Diva
and MTV's Awkward), as well as feature films and fashion runways. She is currently on a world tour performing in the US, South America and Europe.

I hadn't heard of her before, but I like her music. It's easy to listen to, yet very complex. She clearly has a lot of musical talent, too. Some songs have very simple themes (the title track to "Everything Will Be Alright" is about half singing the title). Others are much more poetic: "Far from the city noises I dive into my own dream land Where sweetly my heart rejoices." It's a very feel-good CD, too, centering around the theme of secure love (making it a great album to set the mood for date night).

You can download or purchase Yael Meyer albums on Amazon.com. You can also visit Yael Meyer Music and sign up for the newsletter to receive a free download of the single "Fire." You can also watch Yael perform or visit Yael's Facebook page, Yael Meyer on last.fm, follow @YaelMusic, or Yael's Myspace page.
