Consumer Critique: Froggy Friends and Marshak

Disclosure: I received complimentary products to facilitate this post. All opinions are my own.

I recently had a chance to review a few books by Kevdiddy. They're unique in that they aren't just books. The text is all written out, and in Froggy Friends, there are some illustrations, but the rest is up to the kids. Marshak is a comic book-style story with just frames, leaving room for kids to make their own illustrations. I really like the idea of the books - it provides a guide for kids to use their own imagination and create with the author. Froggy Friends has a nice lesson about being happy with who you are, while Marshak is a tale about an alien from outer space.

The website also features songs, some interactive apps to create your own music, games, and videos. Kevdiddy definitely has his own unique style. My daughters liked the Froggy Friends story just fine, but they really loved creating their own comic book!
