Giveaway: My Dog the Champion

Disclosure: I received complimentary products to facilitate this post. All opinions are my own.

Most kids love pets - especially lovable dogs. That's one reason why family movies that feature a pet keep cropping up. One recent movie in this genre is My Dog the Champion, from Anchor Bay Entertainmet. This Wal-Mart Exclusive is a good story for the whole family - a spoiled city girl has to live on her grandpa's ranch and work hard, especially when the farm is threatened.

The film is executive produced by Arthur E. Benjamin, the founder of the American Dog Rescue, an all-volunteer, non-profit organization that works to rescue and promote the health and well-being of dogs and other animals all across the world. The movie’s starring dog, Scout, is a rescue!

My girls loved the dog in the movie. My older one enjoyed the storyline as well, although my 4-year-old didn't quite get it. It was a warm, touching, family-friendly movie.

I have the chance to give away one copy of the DVD. To enter, leave a comment about what your family likes about movies. Deadline is February 12th.
