Using two pieces of circle-shaped flatbread, you can help your kids create their all-time favorites of ham, turkey, bologna, cheese, PB&J or hummus sandwiches. Ingredients
2 pieces of Kontos Foods Pocket-Less Pita®, white or whole wheat
2 slices of your favorite lunchmeat – ham, turkey, bologna or roast beef
2 slices of your favorite cheese – Swiss, American or Muenster
Lettuce and tomato, if desired
1 tbsp mayonnaise or mustard
Method
- Spread one piece of flatbread with your favorite condiment, such as mayonnaise or mustard.
- Place meat and cheese slices on the bread, plus lettuce and tomato if desired.
- Top with your second piece of Flatbread.
- Cut sandwiches into as many shapes and sizes as you like. Metal cookie cutters are ideal for this.
- Wrap, two at a time, tightly in plastic wrap or foil, and enjoy!
