The Piano Guys
have done what few artists can do – they’ve taken their incredible
Youtube success online and turned it into a well-loved and thrilling
live act. Now, two of their amazing sold-out shows – Carnegie Hall and
Red Rock Amphitheater – have been captured in their first ever live
album, featuring a full CD and DVD. The Piano Guys – Live! deluxe package features live audio
from The Piano Guys’ sold out performance at the world’s most famous
concert hall, Carnegie Hall in New York City, plus live video from their
sold out concert at the stunning outdoor amphitheatre, Red Rocks in
Colorado.
I got a chance to review this album, and I really appreciate the talent that goes into their work. I didn't like watching the live shows quite as much as I like watching their Youtube videos - what they are able to do with changes of scenery and visual is amazing - but it still was well worth watching the DVD content of the live video. Red Rocks is a great setting, and their talent and musicianship doesn't need the visual to make it an enjoyable concert. It was fun to watch and listen to!
