I had a chance to review a book that sure sounds Christmasy, but is actually appropriate for any time of the year: 30 Days to Joy. This one-month creative journal is a great way to reinforce feelings of joy, or increase the joy that we feel in daily life. There are quotes and prompts to help encourage reflection - as well as provide a little bit of an artistic outlet. The prompts don't take a great deal of time each day - or they could, if you prefer a longer, deeper meditation. They're uplifting and refreshing, and while they won't change your attitude overnight, they will provide a boost of joy, whether it's to start your morning, end your day, or just recharge in the middle.
I received this book from Blogging for Books for this review.
