I recently had a chance to review  Pizza With Jesus  (No Black Olives): Finding Hope and Grace Amid Hardship & Grief. This book is a frank look at one woman's grieving process as she and her husband endure loss, suffering, and grief.

The book isn't just about loss due to death, but other instances of suffering. Author P.J.Frick is open about her experiences, and through her writing, readers will read about hope and redemption, patience and trust, and God's ever-present love even when we wander from Him.

The book definitely seems to be a part of P.J.'s healing process. She writes candidly about her experiences, thoughts, doubts, and relationship with God. Although she is very personal with her story, it's also written in a way that can help encourage anyone who is going through grief for any reason - whether it's due to death, transition, or broken relationships.
