I'm always interested in reading more about financial health - especially when it's targeted for women. The founder and CEO of DailyWorth.com, Amanda Steinberg, recently published Worth It: Your Life, Your Money, Your Terms, and I had a chance to review this book.
Women tend to be very relationship-oriented, and this book looks at money through that lens - the relationship between women, their self-worth, and money. Exploring the confusion and guilt that can come from internalized messages about money, whether or not they're based in reality, this book shifts thinking about money to a source of freedom and personal power.
This book is easy to read. Amanda is very clear, and has a very personal writing style. It feels like she's a friend giving you advice, not preaching at you. While she doesn't necessarily go greatly in-depth with some topics, she includes information that women may not hear from financial professionals, giving them the tools to take ownership of their finances instead of being a passive observer.
