Consumer Critique: Maple Holistics Silk 18 Conditioner

My latest product to review from Maple Holistics is their Silk18 conditioner. This conditioner is designed for both men and women, with effective conditioning but no strong feminine scents. Its name comes from the 18 amino acids that are in the formula, which, combined with essential oils, are created to help smooth and soften any hair type.

Maple Holistics products are free of sulfates and other harmful ingredients, and they're transparent about what's inside. Not only does it contain amino acids and essential oils (argan and jojoba), it also contains shea butter, hibiscus, green tea, pomegranate, sea buckthorn, aloe vera, and botanical keratin. The benefits of each is explained clearly on the product page, but basically all of these ingredients help improve hair quality and texture.

Winter is a great time to test out conditioning ability in Minnesota - my daughters and I are all extremely prone to flyaways as it gets dryer and static electricity builds. This conditioner does help keep most flyaways to a minimum. It's light vanilla scent works for both my husband and myself (although his hair is short enough he doesn't really notice any difference).

Want to try before you buy? Check out their  free samples page  where you can try out products before you make a commitment. Right now the conditioner is still showing up as 20% off, and they have a 10% discount when you buy two or more. For every bottle of Silk18 sold, Maple Holistics will donate $1 to NCADV
