Enriching Education: Zümi

Zümi learning tool won the CES 2019 Best of Innovation Award in the Drones & Robotics category.
Made for school aged children, Zümi is the first educational self-driving car kit that teaches kids about the concept of artificial intelligence and self-driving car technology. It integrates robotics, gesture control, face recognition, coding, machine learning and map navigation into a FUN and engaging program.
Now kids can build logic, creativity, problem-solving and communication skills as they gain a deeper understanding of technology and AI as it relates to the world around them.
Our educational products are now in over 1000 schools, with the Zümi self-driving car kit soon to follow.

I had a chance to do an interview to learn more.

Why was Zumi created?
-> Because there are hardly any resources for AI learning, and we wanted to provide AI learning with a fun kit.
How do robotic toys help kids?
-> Because it fun, students get engaged with STEM learning without knowing that they are learning.
What sets Zumi apart from other similar toys?
-> It's the only AI learning tool for kids out there as far as I know.
How can Zumi be used in the classroom?
-> Students can learn various AI concepts like Machine Learning, Neural Network. Students can play and code AI with it in the classroom.
