Healthy Habits: Godfather's Pizza Now Available Gluten-Free in Select Markets

Godfather’s Pizza Inc., A Pizza You Can’t Refuse®, is pleased to offer their Gluten-Free pizza in select Traditional and Express store locations nationwide. Like the rest of our legendary pies, we pile ‘em high with our signature sauce and 100 percent real mozzarella cheese. The only difference is the rice crust.

Customers have the option to purchase the pizza baked in the store or to bake at home. Crew members are trained to use dedicated utensils and cutting board to handle the pizza for baking. Gluten-free pizzas are cut in the box or on the serving tray with parchment paper as a barrier.
Every gluten-free order is designated with a gluten-free caution sticker that is placed on each order ticket before prepping each gluten-free pizza. Customers can order either Godfather’s Pizza Gluten-Free Cheese or Pepperoni pizza. Check your Godfather’s Pizza location for availability. Full nutritional information available at godfathers.com.

“We want to ensure these outstanding products are available for people who need to avoid foods that contain gluten,” said Dave Soukup, vice president of procurement and research and development at Godfather’s Pizza Inc. “This gluten-free option allows more people to enjoy our quality pizza.”
Celiac disease is a serious autoimmune disease that occurs in genetically predisposed people where the ingestion of gluten leads to damage in the small intestine. The Celiac Disease Foundation estimates the disease affects 1 in 100 people worldwide. Left untreated, celiac disease can lead to additional serious health problems.
