Stores opening on Thanksgiving night has been a divisive issue for years. This year, Black Friday is on November 29, and retailers like Target, Walmart and Best Buy will likely welcome in-it-to-win-it shoppers as early as 5 p.m. on November 28, aka Thanksgiving. Still, we’ve noted a merchant backlash to the trend as well. Below are the stores that are already saying “N-O” to opening their doors on Thanksgiving.
