Book Nook: The Double Dangerous Book for Boys

My adventurous younger daughter recently got The Dangerous Book for Boys from the library, and I can see why it sold over a million copies. It has a retro feel and incorporates tons of activities and skills that have been enjoyed by many kids for decades. So I was excited to review the new book by Conn Iggulden, The Double Dangerous Book for Boys.

The book had the same nostalgic feel as the first, and includes way more activities. There are tons of useful skills including writing thank you letters, historic and government information like mythological gods and military ranks, and fun activities like paper airplanes.

There are tons of visuals to make it more appealing - maps, charts, diagrams, illustrations, and more. While the title obviously makes it targeted towards boys, fathers, grandfathers, uncles, and father figures, adventurous girls like mine will also love it.

About the Author:
Along with finding the time to write The Double Dangerous Book for Boys, CONN IGGULDEN is one of the most successful authors of historical fiction writing today. His two number one bestselling series, on Julius Caesar and on the Mongol Khans of Central Asia, describe the founding of the greatest empires of their day. He lives in Hertfordshire with his wife and children (two of whom helped him write this book).
