The Best New True Crime Stories: Serial Killers, edited by Mitzi Szereto
This was kind of a gruesome book, but only because of the subject matter. At the same time, it was absolutely fascinating. The variety of backgrounds of serial killers, and how they were caught (or not caught) is amazing. This includes both contemporary serial killers and historic crimes.
