Book Nook: Baby Books from Workman

Workman Publishing has a wide variety of baby books available. I recently had a chance to review several board books, as well as some Indestructibles titles.

Good Night, Baboon! and ABC Dance! are cute little books that teach numbers and letters using animals. The illustrations are richly colored and very appealing, and the books are both upbeat and fun.

Your Nose! is a unique book about a fox parent praising their child's nose. It's funny, cute, and fun, and encourages little "boops" on the nose.

Indestructibles books are designed to be, well, indestructible. The pages don't rip, and if they get wet they are easy to wipe clean and dry. They don't really crease or get dog-eared either. The books are short - perfect for pre-reader attention spans. Let's Be Kind and Let's Go Outside gently encourage positive habits, while ¡Hola, Granja!/Hello, Farm! and Te Amo, Bebé/I Love You, Baby are bilingual books that can be used for promoting language awareness in bilingual families or families who simply want to expose their kids to another language.
