Halloween might be over, but many people enjoy slightly creepy and unsettling stories all year round. If you do, you might want to check out Tales from the Eerie Canal: 22 Stories of the Delightfully Dark & Creepy. I had a chance to review this book, and it lives up to the title perfectly.
The book is a little bit macabre and dark, but in a good way. If you liked the sense of Edgar Allan Poe's stories, these have a similar mood, but in a more updated context. Ghosts, devils, vampires, and other dark creatures are featured in stories that also have the darkly absurd. It's a great read for anyone who loves the spookiness of Halloween year round.
