1Core

The founder of Zappos, Tony Hsieh, once said, “We are the best customer service company that happens to sell shoes.” At 1Core, we don’t view ourselves as a software company, but as a problem-solving company with the mission to deliver peace of mind to our customers through software solutions.

For over 15 years, 1Core has fully committed to serving the childcare industry, which we strongly believe is the backbone of our economy. We serve all types of childcare providers, large and small, including the U.S. Air Force child and youth programs.

When the pandemic hit, 1Core noticed the tremendous impact to the childcare industry and the related human sufferings. 1Core sprang into action, so we can help childcare providers to adapt to the “new normal”.  Within a couple of months’ time, 1Core released a number of COVID-responsive solutions, such as touchless sign in/out using QR code for parents and staff, app-based daily health screening, and paperless online registration with e-signing.  In addition, we launched the 1Core Learn@Home, the all-in-one innovative solution platform to help childcare centers to go virtual and pandemic-proof their businesses.  It keeps children engaged and learning, staff employed, and gives parents the peace of mind they need during these unprecedented times.

I had a chance to interview 1Core to learn more.

Why was 1Core Solution created?

## 1Core Solution was created to deliver peace of mind through innovative technology to the childcare industry to serve families and children.

Why is it helpful for parents to have someone else provide a curriculum, even if their kids aren't in-person in a preschool?
## Most parents are not trained to homeschool their preschool aged children, particularly when they have to spend 24 hours a day with their children during the pandemic era.

What can parents do to keep their youngest ones engaged and connecting with others socially but still safely?

## During the pandemic, attending virtual preschool is one of the best ways to keep young children engaged developmentally, connecting with other children socially while staying safe.
