Book Nook: Primordial

I recently had the chance to review a book that was engaging and a little unsettling. I enjoyed the book, and it raised some very interesting points - not something I can usually say about a fiction book.

In Primordial Jonas, a hospital attorney, begins to suspect that someone is targeting patients in his NYC hospital. With the help of two residents, his search for answers will bring him face to face with a killer.

The book bounces back and forth from the present day to WWII Germany and medical research being conducted there. The link between the two is shown near the end of the book - but then there's still a twist.

There were a lot of things I liked about the book - the unique subject matter, the red herrings along the way, the surprises. There were a few elements of the storyline that were wrapped up too quickly or felt a little abrupt, but overall it was a fast-paced book that was very engaging.
